Ana Maria, Colombian-born with Lebanese roots, has cultivated an eclectic and experimental sound that seamlessly blends breaks, electro, ambient textures, and unconventional progressions. Her sets, often shaped by unexpected rhythms and deliberate dissonance, transform the dance floor into a dynamic space where subtle traces of Latin and Arabic folk echo, reflecting her deep cultural heritage.
Through her alter ego, she navigates the space between groove and nostalgia, drawing influence from the foundations of Italo, funk, and house. Her selections evoke a sense of both intimacy and liberation, where retro-futurism and fluidity converge.
A co-founder of AGBeats in Berlin, Mestizana has long been immersed in interdisciplinary exploration, driven by introspection and a passion for sonic innovation.
